This is "the way" we do business.

We welcome you into the family of Electropedic Wheelchair Elevators.
We are a family owned company.
Before you buy a mobility elevator, whether it is for your porch or inside your home, we have to ask you several questions. Where both the proper configuaration and safety are a concern, we feel it is best to first talk to a qualified representative. After 45 years, configuring how to put the right electric home care products together, we must be doing something right.
Along the way, we explain the basic features and benefits , standard and optional equipment (which are different between models and different manufacturer's), and how they may benefit you.
We both listen to each other's questions, answers and explanations. to configure a vertical platform lift / wheelchair, scooter, mobility lift for you.
This is how we put the pieces together:
Do you have a solid concrete floor to put the unit on, approximately 4 feet by 4 feet. Optional platform sizes and configurations are available.
Do you have an easy place to plug it in (standard 110 outlet - optional DC power is available)
Are you planning to put it in yourself (Bruno will not allow for self-installation)
In commercial applications (and sometimes residential), are you going to be inspected, are you aware of any local permits, codes or regulations (commercial units, if inspected, sometimes need a Certified Wheelchair Elevator Contractor to put it in to pass inspection). Do you need a commercial unit?
Do you have enough room to enter and exit the unit.
Are you planning to put the Lifting Mechanism on the Left Side or the Right Side?
Especially when children are present; some units have a standard built-in safety mechanism that automatically turns off the unit if it hits an obstruction on the say down.
Would solid walls be important, or are side rails enough (many units come "standard" differently.).
Adding the weight of the person and the mobility unit - is 500, 600 or 750 pound weight capability better? Is 1/2HP enough, or would you like a 1HP unit?
Do you need an upper limit of 2 feet, 4 feet, 6 feet (you set in the field the exact measurement to where you want the unit to stop). We sell units up to 12' high.
Is you Ingrees (going in) and Egress (going out) in a straight line; or do you need an Optional 90 degree Platform
Is a ramp, or custom ramp, or stair lift a better alternative?
Does there have to be any modification to your home or porch rails or landscaping?
Do you need an Optional top landing gate (which includes call/send controls with key and mechanical interlock - released only when platform is at top landing). Do you need the doors to swing out to the left or to the right?
Are Optional Remote Control eyed call/send controls important to you or your caregiver?
Do you need a unit that has a Standard Solid Platform with anti-skid material - or would you like to "see through" the bottom platform?
Standard Features Include: Manual hand lowering crank.
Standard Features Include: Automatic self-lowering folding ramp provides convenient entrance for mobility devices when in the down position, and a safety enclosure in the up position.
Standard Features Include: Simple, accessible controls with emergency stop switch are easy to operate. Controls require constant pressure.
Standard Features include Weather protected controls and Weather resistant powder coated paint throughout
Standard Features include: Limit Switches that automatically turn off unit in the all the way up and down position
Standard Features include: Stanard 110 AC outlet needed. Do you need a D.C. Unit (Direct Current)?
Do you need a Portable Unit? (many schools, stages and churches need a "sometimes" unit to pass access to stair barriers.)
Would you rather have a Toggle vs. a Key Switch?
