How to Design the Right Lift Chair for You!
We ask about your health condition. We like to ask your age, general health conditions, how many hours are you going to use your lift-chair, whether you plan to "sleep" or nap in your chair, . . .and related use questions.
If you have back problems, acid reflux, heart, breathing, circulatory, heart, or leg problems, we want you to know how the 2-position, 3-position and Infinate-position lift-chairs work.
All 2-position lift-chairs electrically
recline for comfort, reading and watching TV. 3-Position lift-chairs
recline a little further back for sleeping.
If you have circulatory problems, you
can get your feet gently above your heart level. If you have breathing,
acid reflux or heart problems you can gently recline with your back upright.
We ask you if you are planning to use your lift chair 2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours or more a day to make sure you design a chair for all the purposes you may need it for: Sleeping, health, relaxation, . . .
If you have arthrtis, lift-chairs can also come with optional Heat and Massage - very soothing and relaxing for every body!
If you have had a stroke or have one arm or hand better than the other, we want you to know that the hand control and side pocket can be designed to go onto either side (right side standard).
We want you to be aware of the Infinate
Position Lift-Chairs for both COMFORT and Health reasons. These
infinate position lift-chairs allow you to individually
adjust your back and your legs to almost any position you wish.

Before You Buy An Automatic Lift-Chair We Ask You (5) Five Questions:
How Tall Are You?
How Tall Are You? Lift-Chairs come in your choice of Small-Petite (under 5'2"), Medium (under 5'6"), Large (under 5.9") and Extra Large (over 5'10"). There are special sizes for Extra, Extra Large (over 6'2"). The most important consideration in getting a lift-chair is Seat-Depth_____: making sure that your lower back rests comfortably against the back of the chair. The longest bone in your body is your femur or "thigh" bone, and "how tall are you?" usually determines how long your thigh bone is. If you get a chair that is too deep, your lower back will not rest against the back of the chair. You also need a lift-chair with the correct Back-Height_____: You want to make sure your head can rest and be supported by the back of the chair. Also, You need to look at Seat-Height_____: You want to be able to sit with your feet gently on the ground.
How Much Do You Weigh?
How Much Do You Weigh? We have to make sure that your body weight matches the Seat-Width:________. You don't want to feel - or only slightly feel - the sides of the chair touching your body. Also, you don't want to feel "lost" within the chair. We help match up your weight. height and seat-width to the chair. If you weigh over 350 pounds we would highly recommend that you buy a Heavy-Duty/2-motor lift-chair that has 2-motors lifting and reclining the lift-chair, and a double-reinforced frame.
Do You Like A Chair that is Soft or more Firm?
Do You Like A Chair that is Soft or more Firm? Most people prefer a firmer, tufted feel. Some chairs have a little more padding than others. Some chairs have a lot of "Soft-Pillow" padding. If you have low back trouble, we find that most people prefer a bit more firmness in the lower back area. If you like it medium or "I don't know" we would recommend a Normal-type firmness (not too soft or too firm). If you know you like it soft, then we know what you will like.
Do You Like to Sleep in your Recliner Chair?
Do You Like to Sleep in your Recliner Chair? All the lift-chairs recline to good resting and watching TV positions - with the leg rests electrically elevating. But, if you know that you like to nap or sleep in your recliner chair, then we would recommend a lift-chair that also goes a little further back - into a 3-position/Sleeping/Almost Flat Position.
What Are Your Specific Needs?
